Team Managers


Welcome to the 2020-2021 season

Welcome to another hockey season! On behalf of the Virginia Amateur Hockey Association board we would like to thank you for your willingness to manage a team this season. Please know we appreciate all the time and energy you will put into assisting your team.  If you have any questions or need any assistance during the season, please do not hesitate to contact one of us.

Important items for Team Managers:

  1. Be sure every game is covered in concessions, time clock, penalty box and book keeper as needed.
  2. Be sure all families contribute to helping out.
  3. Make hotel reservations for tournaments as needed.  (PW and Bantam levels only)
  4. Communicate with parents on practices, car pooling, coaches meetings etc....
  5. HAVE FUN !

Please complete the following steps if you are a team manager.

Step 1: Register with as a manager & complete SAFESPORT Training


All managers must register themselves on the USA Hockey website. You will register and print the registration confirmation. USA Hockey registration confirmation form can be submitted to a VAHA board member.

Step 2:  Create an account on NGIN to manage your VAHA team page


Click on the “Create an Account” tab at the very top of this page. 


Step 3: Email to activate account


Send Naomi an email to confirm that you have created an account. Also, include the following information within your email:

1)    First and Last name

2)    Team/Level that you will be managing

3)    Contact information (phone)

Soon after you have completed the above steps, your account will be activated with the approval of the VAHA president.  Website training will be available for managers upon request.
